Where to start?
Well seeing as this is my first post maybe I should start by introducing myself? .... My name is Becky, I'm 25 years old from Ipswich and I'm mum to 4 wonderful (can be naughty! lol) children .... We have Leon 7 Kaiden 5 Finley 2 and Grace 8 months .... I'm married to Gavin age 30 ... Yep we have our hands full! ..... Gavin is a bus driver so his worked most of this half term which is a pain considering we're having to empty our kitchen & bathroom ready for a refit! ..... We shall be living out of the living room mainly! lol .... So half term let's begin! ....Some of what we have done in half term :)
One of the thing's I have got to mention has to be The Harvester! .... They have offered children eat for £1 .... now it's not just the meal it's a drink and a dessert as well as the all you can eat salad bar too! Honestly I was so chuffed with that! With 4 children you have to bag the bargains when you can hey! So me and my mum & sister took them all for a walk up to the harvester and they totally stuffed their faces lol! .... Have you noticed they bring the food out on leaves? pmsl! .... The boys faces were so funny! my 5 year old asked if he had to eat it hahaa ..... Anyway after the meal we then walked on over to sainsbury's ..... 25% off clothes!! Again bargain! lol ..... As you can imagine this day tallied up to be rather expensive :P
Another of the day's we went to out local indoor play center Snakes & Ladders ..... I don't even know where to begin! .... It's way overpriced & stinks! ..... Finley cost £5.50 Kaiden £6.50 and Leon £7.50 .... Then adults have to pay £1.50 entry to! .... I mean come on? We're paying for out kids to go and play, they can't play without supervision but we have to pay to supervise them? Really? Come on I can't be the only one thinking that's a total rip off?! ..... I certainly won't be taking the children back there .... I mean I understand those places are meant to be noisy but they had a customer announcement every friggin 5 minutes?! .... Some things were out of order so couldn't be used .... The amount of older children wizzing round that place running into younger children was unreal! .... An the prices of food & drink were sky high! .... With the amount of money they must make you'd think the place would be cleaner and have decent stuff for the children! ..... 2 hours play was all they were allowed as it's half term ... They seemed to enjoy themselves which is the main thing but we won't be returning!
DVD DAY! .... So you must have seen the AMAZING offer at sainsbury's! .... Hotel Transylvania 2?? ... Buy it for £10 and get the first Hotel Transylvania DVD FREE! ... I was soooo chuffed with this offer .... I'm not sure how others feel about taking their children to the cinema but if I did then i'd be taking out a bank loan each time lol!! .... It's something i'd do as a treat but again think it's overpriced! .... So instead I try to hold out until the DVD is released and then purchase it .... We also purchased PAN for £10 and it was a brilliant film! The whole family enjoyed it ;)
Well I'm going to have to leave it there as the 2 older ones are arguing again lol! ..... If anyone has any advice on the constant fighting please don't hesitate to comment :P ..... I look forward to blogging again!
